Here are some illustrations that I did not get around to posting this year.
Jordan Peele for piqued.us

An article about the teacher tenure. A group of Silicon Valley investors want to be able to fire teachers based how well students do on standardized tests. Also for Piqued.
Made for Swerve around the world cup. It was about the Brazilian national dish, Feijoada.
I started illustrating a column by Katie Laur for Cincinnati Magazine. This article is about the almost deserted town of Rabbit Hash, Kentucky and the quirky people who live there.

This one was also for Cincinnati Magazine about a woman who befriended four very different people and brought them together.

Some tiny spots for St. Louis Magazine Home about different artists you can hire around town.

Some spots for The Boston Globe about what it was like in the Victorian times around Christmas.

Most people didn’t get enough to eat.

People hated it when they had to do laundry because it was such a big chore that took days.

To make their cocoa thicker they would add brick dust!

My dot for The AIGA The Dot Show back in September. Everyone was to pick a favorite spot in St. Louis.

Dec 4, 2014

For BUST magazine about Living in Sin and how to avoid further arguments if you ever break up.
This one was for the New York Times Style Section about a woman who responds to social media messages before she responds to phone calls, texts etc…
A cover for the Washington University in St. Louis Engineering School about climate change and how we are impacted by it.
Another cover for WashU Engineering about the school’s integration of technology. Teachers have begun posting their lectures online so that class time can be used for group work and questions.
