flippin' awesome. you just might see a certain chef post this on their pages, too...
As a southsider, I am quite disappointed that the south side is not represented on that map. There are a lot of great restaurants in the south side that have great character but lack the over-pretentiousness of the north side.
Would like to see this in print form so I could frame it ane out it in my house, awesome representation!

This map is rubbish. It omits most of the south and west sides entirely. I guess 2/3 of the city's population doesn't matter.
Perhaps the map would be better named "rich white Chicago food map".
It's also notable that the map features expressways with cars, but no CTA or Metra trains.
There is a James Beard Award winning restaurant on the South Side... that doesn't merit a mention? Guess we don't count.
Did you realise your Food map has been twittered? It is quite clever. I like your boys with boats on ilo island better though.
