The New York Times Book Review

This one was in this past Sunday's Book Review. "The Kissing List," is a collection of stories about a group of girls who recently graduated from college and find themselves a bit lost and confused. Hour Detroit Magazine

This story was all about The Garden Fresh Gourmet empire and their use of high pressure processing machines. "HPP is a cold-water pressurizing process that cools down food quickly before it’s packaged, preserving nutrients and preventing the growth of pathogens, such as yeast, mold, and other bacteria." Friend and creative director Evan La Ruffa at IPaintMyMind.org asked me to contribute to his print series and left the subject matter completely open ended. I am used to being given assignments along with a story, so for this one I recalled a story that I heard on WNYC Radio lab. Read more about the story and purchase one of these prints here.

Grandmas Galore

The Cover (without text)

I got asked to do another cover story for Swerve Calagary. The issue was released just in time for mother's day. The story was about how the role of Grandma has changed. More Grandmothers want to travel or be more active in their community rather than dote on their grandchildren. One of my own grandmothers makes an appearance on the cover too!
